Emily Daniels grew up in Iowa but now lives in Spring, Texas.
Her husband is associate pastor at Zion Lutheran Church in Tomball, Texas. She majored in social work at the University of Northern Iowa and did a semester-long internship with the disabilities department at Lutheran Services, also located in Iowa.
While studying in the deaconess program at Concordia in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Emily was placed at Bethesda to do fieldwork. She really enjoyed her time with the people we support and appreciates the Christ-centered approach we take. She was attracted to the Ambassador role due to her desire to advocate for people with disabilities and carry their voice into churches and congregations. Outside of her work, Emily is a proud mom to two beautiful girls, and wife to husband Michael.
We are so excited you decided to join the Ambassador program, Emily! We can’t wait to see how your background and experience positively impacts Bethesda and the role you’ve accepted.
