Bethesda in Washington
In Washington, the people we support use their community-based housing and supported living services as a springboard into their community. People Bethesda supports in Washington take advantage of their proximity to Seattle by regularly attending sporting events and enjoying museums and restaurants. They also take in the natural wonders of the Pacific Northwest by visiting their area’s many parks and forests.
The dedicated members of Bethesda’s Auxiliary in Washington are very active, connecting with the people Bethesda supports in their homes and in the community. People Bethesda supports created FAIR, an advocacy group that stands up for the rights of people with developmental disabilities.
We value our congregational connections in Washington. Through these connections, the people we support have access to rides to and from church, opportunities to serve their congregation and no shortage of friendly visitors to their homes.
